Teach Me How to Create and Sell a Budget Planner on Amazon

Hot niche alert! I was doing some research on a new template pack that’s come out and it turns out it’s in a GREAT niche.
I’m talking about budget planners.
As of right now, an incognito search on Amazon (with the Keywords Everywhere plugin for Chrome) shows that “budget planner” gets over 70,000 searches a month.

Niche Insights
Each book is a similar size and all have a pretty low bestseller rank (in ALL books).
The categories showing up for me are weird – so not sure how to interpret this. Did the sellers put them in these categories or did Amazon?
And to figure out profit potential, let’s assume each book is netting the seller about $2 in royalties.
So our first book is making approximately $124 a day, our second book is making about $56 a day, and our third book is making about $48 a day.

Slant Your Books to Stand Out from the Pack
You could easily slant your books to further “niche down” and target eager buyers.
But how?
Start brainstorming targeted groups of people. Women, men, college students, moms, business owners…who could use a budget planner?
It’s even better if you do detailed research into a niche – this is how I research and create my books.
Think about combining niches. Could you use other templates and PLR?
